DEC. 16 - 2-Hour Delay

Tuesday, Dec. 16all MCCSC schools will operate on a 2-hour delay. All schools will begin two hours later than their regular start time. A detailed delay schedule is on our website. Morning-only preschool and PreK are canceled. Full-day Preschool and Pre-K will begin two hours after the normal start time. Morning extended day is open and operates on the normal schedule. The Early Learning Center North and South locations, and extended day will begin at normal start time.  
 
Please refer to our website for more information on how decisions to delay, close or dismiss early are made.

We are pleased to celebrate our schools following the recent U.S. News & World report for 2026 Best Elementary and Middle Schools rankings that recognized two MCCSC schools in the top 25 in the state: Jackson Creek Middle School ranked #8 among Indiana’s middle schools, and Childs Elementary School ranked #9 among Indiana’s elementary schools.
